Show of hands, please – as we began the quest to find the next President of The United States, how many of you thought that would include a discussion of Megyn Kelly’s menstrual cycle?  And yet that’s where we find ourselves in the continuing saga of The Trump War on Political Correctness.

In the exchange of accusations following Thursday night’s debate, Trump said that he thought Kelly was very angry at the debate, that she had “blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her whatever.”

And that “whatever” is what everyone is currently up in arms about.

The republican establishment, that desperately wants Trump to go back to whatever he was doing three months ago, says he was making a stab at Kelly, that it was her “time of the month” and so she was a little irrational.  Trump says he meant that blood was coming from her nose and that only a deviant would think what he was being accused of.

Eric Erickson of RedState officially uninvited Trump from their big gathering in Atlanta this weekend, saying Trump’s remark was disrespectful of all female journalists and that he didn’t want his daughter in the same room with Trump.  Jeb Bush again demanded Trump apologize, as so many others have.

Now, if Trump had meant what his accusers are saying, he wouldn’t deny it.  That would be out of character.  No, he would admit it.  And then he would most likely double down.  Isn’t that what he’s been doing and what’s driving them crazy?

It doesn’t really matter, because this isn’t about who’s right or wrong here.  It’s about that apology Bush is demanding from Trump.  It’s about the party leaders banishing him from their pow-wow.  It’s about them being in a battle with someone they can’t control, can’t pay off and can’t shut up.  It’s about political correctness and what to do with someone who colors outside of the lines.

And so the Republican Party leaders, the guys who make the deals in those smoke filled back rooms, who lie to us over and over, are left to behave like petulant children, stomping their feet, demanding that Trump stop and telling him he’s not welcome at their parties.  They want to get on with their listening tours, you know, when they travel the country, shaking hands, kissing babies and finding out what the people think.  They want to tell us all the really great stuff they’re going to do if only we’ll give them our votes.

And there’s Donald Trump, the republican candidate who is beating all the others in the pack by double digits, who is persona non grata with the big wheels of the Republican Party, pulling back the curtain to expose them.

He’s not going to stop, at least not while they keep demanding he grovel and beg their forgiveness.  Because Trump knows  that Americans who have had to bear political correctness for years, who have been beaten down by it, made to pay for it, chastised for speaking against it, and live in fear of violating it, have finally found someone who unabashedly defies it – every single chance he gets.  They have found someone who they believe will actually build that wall on the southern border.  None of them care about Megyn Kelly’s menstrual cycle, they don’t believe for a minute that she needs a man to defend her, they don’t care that Jeb Bush and the rest of the gang are upset because their campaigns aren’t going according to plan.

They only see someone willing to publicly validate all the lies they’ve been told over the years and to speak in plain language about it to all comers, no matter who is offended or exposed.

And they’ll keep supporting him as long as he keeps it up.

This is the new ad from fwd.us advocating for amnesty for illegal aliens.  It is about the plight of Alejandro Morales, an illegal immigrant.

That’s powerful stuff.  And who wouldn’t want such a fine, young man like Alejandro serving with our Marines?

That’s part of what gets left out of all this.  Young Mr. Morales, like Daniela Pelaez, the valedictorian and illegal immigrant who was the focus of amnesty promoters last year, is the kind of immigrant we all want.  As I have in the past, I challenge you to find a conservative who wants to send Alejandro “back where he came from.”  Yet that’s the narrative we’re always served up – conservatives hate immigrants and just want to deport everyone.

But how is it that Morales finds himself in his predicament?  We only have the limited information from the ad, but we know that his parents brought him here when he was a baby, about 18 years ago.  He and his parents remain illegals.  We assume his parents must have worked to support themselves, so they must have used fake documents in order to do so.

They had to work somewhere, and after all these years it seems hard to believe that no employer figured out that they were not who they said they were.  It’s hard to believe that their employers were not fully aware that they were illegal.  Most likely, those employers took advantage of this and paid them less than what they would to an American citizen or legal immigrant.

At the same time, our elected leaders have allowed this to happen by looking the other way.  For decades they have also acted lawlessly, by refusing to enforce our immigration laws, by allowing businesses to hire illegals, and by refusing to monitor and secure our border.

All along the way everyone involved has been breaking the law.  And now we are faced with Alejandro and what to do about him.

But why is any of this my fault?

Why am I the heartless bastard because I reject the current version of amnesty for illegals and demand our leaders demonstrate to us that they intend to enforce the law from now on?  Why am I the bad guy because I want them to secure the border, prove to us it is secure and then come back and we’ll talk about Alejandro? How do you arrive at the conclusion that I’m a racist and simply hate people who don’t look like me?  Why must I give a pass to the politicians and the rest of the lawbreakers who created this mess?

If it were up to me, Alejandro would not be in this position as all this would have been corrected decades ago.

And could we all admit that we’re not talking about giving amnesty to 20 million Alejandros?  Alejandro is the exception not the rule.  Those sneaking across our border in the middle of the night are far more likely to be gang members and drug runners than ROTC cadets.  Funny how we never see them on the commercials from the amnesty crowd.

Can we all also be honest enough to admit that if we pass this current amnesty bill, we will be right back here in 18 years, trying to figure out what to do with another Alejandro?

We’ve been here before.  Our leaders have promised to enforce the law and get the border secure, if only we’ll just let these folks stay.  We all know they lied.  And we all know they are lying now.  They have no intention of holding up their end of the deal.

Why are we even being asked to make a deal?  These politicians were elected to do a job.  They don’t get to say, “I promise to do my job if you’ll just do this.”  No.  Just do your job.  Enforce the law.  Secure the border.  Go after the companies that hire illegals.  Figure out who’s here.  Deport the criminals.  When you have proven that you are worthy of the trust of the American people, we can find a way to make things right for Alejandro.

You made the mess, so you clean it up.  And stop blaming me for it.

I wasn’t going to address this because I think the best way to handle bullies and opportunists is to ignore them.  But Jesse Jackson has really gone too far.

In his tangled mind, the Zimmerman case, in which a Hispanic man with black in his bloodline was found not guilty by a jury, is somehow a focal point in his never-ending battle against white racism.

He has called for a boycott of Florida (my home state) calling us an “apartheid state” and “the Selma of our time.”

Criticizing Florida’s Stand Your Ground law (which is similar to the laws in dozens of other states) he says, “You incentivize killing people.”

He compared our governor, Rick Scott, to George Wallace.

Then he went on about student loans, demanding more money from government sources, which is really what this is all about.  It’s what Jackson has been about for most of his life – extorting money and enriching himself at the expense of black Americans.

Jesse Jackson with student group

Jesse Jackson with student group

Jackson was there with Dr. King and he knows what Dr. King’s message was.  Yet he chooses to corrupt it and pervert it for his own personal gain.  It’s despicable.  It sullies the memory, the dedication and the sacrifice of King, and distorts it for those too young to remember what King stood for and the real hatred and discrimination he faced.

Rev. Jackson, you don’t know me.  You know nothing about me.  Likewise for millions of others here in Florida.  I take personal issue with your charge of racism.  I’m tired of being accused of it by people like you simply because I was born with pale skin.  And now by virtue of where I live I’m endorsing murder?

I’m tired of watching you stir up trouble where it doesn’t exist, keeping the flame of racial divide alive at any cost, in order to maintain your own millionaire lifestyle and keep your seat at the big table of Washington politics.

You will soon forget those impressionable kids at our state capital.  You won’t remember their names.  You won’t follow up to see how their lives turn out.

But they will remember you.  They will carry the hatred and division you inspired in them at a young age.  They will go on being certain that “the man” is out to get them and that their playing field isn’t equal.  They will carry around the burden of suspicion and the racism you taught them.

There will be no massive boycott.  People will still take their kids to Disney World.  Your hateful remarks will fade into history like so much else you’ve said in the past.

But those kids will live their lives as you taught them – another generation unable to break the chain of destruction and mistrust, another generation divided by the sham that is kept alive by you and other powerful people who profit from that division.

How do you sleep at night?

This one is really for our beloved Low Information Voters.  As I’ve told you before, I understand your hesitation when it comes to politics.  I hear your sighs at the mention of the word.  I see your eyes roll up into your head.  I get it.

But I still keep reminding you that it is politicians who write the laws, who make the rules that you and I have to live by. What they do has a profound effect on our lives and we can no longer afford to leave them unattended.

Your big complaints are that it’s all too complicated to keep track of and you don’t know who’s lying and who’s telling the truth.  I am happy to tell you that a crash course that will provide your answers is available and is just starting to play out for all to watch.  I promise you that if you’ll pay attention to just one issue over the coming days and weeks, you’ll learn all you need to know.  That issue is the IRS scandal.

As we know, President Obama and his spokesman switched gears last week and are now saying that the scandals plaguing the administration are phonies.  (See Friday’s post if you need to catch up on that.)  Treasury Secretary Jack Lew appeared on TV Sunday to push the notion that there’s nothing to see with regard to what’s going on at the IRS and that the president’s political enemies are just out to get him.  Here’s part of his interview with Chris Wallace.  If all this is really too painful for you, you can skip to just before the 3 minute mark and still get the gist.

So according to Lew, conservative groups were not singled out, everyone guilty of bad behavior has been dealt with, all the appropriate questions have been asked and those looking for any political connections to the Obama administration are simply playing politics.  There’s no there there.

OK.  So now let’s look at the facts that we do know.

There were over a hundred applications for tax exempt status from conservative groups that the IRS pulled out for extra scrutiny and subjected to questions that were outside IRS jurisdiction.  A handful of applications from progressive groups got extra scrutiny.

Who has paid any price at the IRS?  Well, Lois Lerner, who plead the Fifth and refused to answer questions for members of Congress, and Holly Paz were put on paid administrative leave.  They’re on paid vacation.  Joseph Grant has retired.  We assume he’s collecting his full pension and benefits.

As best we can tell, William Wilkins, IRS Chief Council appointed by President Obama, has not been questioned by anyone.

The citizens who appeared before Congress to tell of how they were singled out by the IRS say that no one from the FBI or any other government agency has interviewed them or even contacted them.  I can’t figure out how investigators can investigate without ever speaking to the victims.

And of course, there is what the president promised (before he changed his mind.)

So the sides are drawn up.  On the right, you have people complaining that those conducting the investigation are dragging their feet and refuse to ask the proper questions of the parties involved.  On the left you have people saying that the investigation has revealed nothing but a tiny handful of career employees who behaved badly but have been dealt with, and that anyone suggesting a political angle is just fishing for something that doesn’t exist.

The facts tell us that something very, very wrong happened.  There is simply no question about that.  Private citizens – Americans – were denied their right to participate in the electoral process because of their political views.  The party currently in power, abused that power to stifle the freedom of speech of these Americans.  To suggest that the investigation is pretty much complete when we know so many involved haven’t even been questioned is absurd.  No one has been punished.  No one has taken responsibility.

And over the coming days and weeks, you will be able to watch the dance play out.  You will be able to tell which politicians and which members of the media are lying and which are telling the truth.  If the anchor on your news channel tells you all this is phony and those crazy conservatives are on a witch hunt, you’ll know you’re being lied to.

The same goes for members of Congress.  Listen to what they say.  Are they interested in getting to the truth or do they just want to insult those asking for the truth?  Are they looking out for you or are they more interested in defending their political party?

And as you’re watching and making note of who is lying to you, please remember that we are just months away from the implementation of Obamacare.  The same IRS that has engaged in political targeting is about to be put in charge of enforcing our healthcare system.

If you don’t think that’s a good enough reason to invest a little of your time and figure out the truth, I just don’t know what else I can say to awaken you.  You deserve to live in a country where your rulers decide what scraps they’ll throw you.

It’s too bad you will be taking the rest of us down with you.

On Tuesday, President Obama’s spokesman, Jay Carney, gave us a peek into what the president would focus on in his current campaign tour.

Phony scandals?  Surely Carney was joking.

But he wasn’t.  Phony is exactly what Obama said the next day in an otherwise snoozer of a speech at Knox College in Illinois.

He took a lot of heat for the line.  But just to be sure that no one got the wrong idea and wouldn’t assume he just chose his words poorly, he doubled down and repeated the charge yesterday while speaking to another handpicked crowd of adoring fans.

Like so many others, I’m still picking my chin up from the floor and wondering which scandals he’s referring to.  Is he talking about Border Agent Brian Terry, who was killed with a Fast and Furious gun?  Or the hundreds of Mexican citizens who were killed with those guns?  Are they phony?

Or could he be talking about the four Americans murdered in Benghazi?  Are they phony?

Maybe he meant the hundreds of conservative groups systematically targeted illegally by the IRS and prevented from participating in our political system for two election cycles.

Or perhaps he meant the reporters whose phone records were “obtained” by the Justice Department.  Maybe he meant James Rosen, the FOX News correspondent who the same Justice Department falsely named as a co-conspirator in an espionage case in order to obtain access to his phone and email accounts.

Perhaps he meant the revelation that the NSA is collecting data on each and every one of us, storing it all away for some yet undisclosed purpose in the future.

Are these all phony?

Who paid any price for the death of Brian Terry?  Who has paid for the deaths of Ambassador Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty or Ty Woods?  The only person jailed was the guy who made the video.  Who ordered that video be used as a cover-up?  Talk about phony baloney.

Who’s investigating the IRS?  The American citizens who testified before Congress about how they were targeted and abused say no one from the FBI or anyone else has contacted them.

I’m angry.  Really angry.  All around me, I see the lives of Americans being destroyed.  Good, decent, hard-working people who have played by the rules all their lives are losing their jobs, their businesses, their homes and their life savings.

What’s being done about it?  Arrogant, overpaid bureaucrats hide behind their “rights.”

Lois Lerner

Except for a tiny handful of decent men and women, members of Congress go along to get along, spending borrowed money we can never repay, and covering up for the most outrageous and criminal behavior of those in positions of power.  Their number one concern is getting re-elected and staying on the gravy train of taxpayer dollars.  Meanwhile, they preach to the rest of us, call us cowardly racists and just too simple-minded to understand their grand plan.

Our president sneers at our complaints, and with his signature smirk he labels them phony.  He dismisses us and swats us away as one would a gnat on a hot summer day.

It’s spiraling out of control now folks.  Nothing is being done about any of this.  They’re simply waiting us out.  They’re waiting until we get tired of asking for answers and action.  Obamacare will soon hit us and that will do the job.  As we all watch our healthcare system implode and find ourselves with little access to medical care we’ll realize that they even have the power to take away our health.

What’s happening is all very real.  And a real price will be paid by real Americans.

They only things that are phony are the hollow words coming from our leaders.

Way back in 2010, Christine O’Donnell ran for the United States Senate for the State of Delaware.  O’Donnell was a tea party favorite and became the target ChristineODonnellof some fantastic stories at the hand of her opponents.

One of those stories was about a tax lien on her home.  It was alleged that she wasn’t all that bright and couldn’t manage her own finances.  And to top it off she hadn’t paid her taxes.  Why should such a person hold a position of authority?  It didn’t matter that the lien was not real.  She lost the race.

More information about that lien is trickling out now.  O’Donnell recently got a call from an investigator at the Treasury Department to tell her that some official from the State of Delaware had accessed her tax records improperly.  The date of that access was March 9, 2010.

Coincidentally, that was the same date that O’Donnell announced she was running for the Senate.  Wow, small world, huh?  But if that’s not enough for you, March 9, 2010 was also the date that the IRS placed the tax lien (for the home she no longer owned and didn’t owe any taxes on) into Ms. O’Donnell’s records.

What are the odds?

A Delaware official says the investigation into O’Donnell’s tax records was done properly, and says it was done on March 20, not March 9.  But he can’t provide any evidence or additional information as all their records of the event have already been destroyed.

I’ll give you a minute for that one.

We’ve learned in recent months that the IRS has engaged in a systematic effort to use its power to undermine the most basic rights of conservative Americans by way of denying and delaying tax exempt status for any groups associated with conservative values.  Now it appears the abuse runs deeper than we imagined.

Let’s engage in our own fantastic story for a moment.  Fast forward a bit to the presidential race in 2016. Obamacare is in full swing and, as planned, the IRS has access to all our medical records.  Their abuse of power continues unchecked.

The Republican Party has chosen Margaret O’Malley as their candidate.  She’s a rock-solid conservative and the first female ever in such a position.  With just weeks to go until Election Day, O’Malley is leading and looks headed to be the next President of The United States.

On an otherwise average Monday morning, the headline of the New York Times screams that O’Malley is mentally unstable.  The story reveals that The Times has obtained a copy of her medical records showing her history of being institutionalized for depression and drug abuse.  The associated criminal offenses are hinted at.  There are also records of treatment for a variety of STDs and a listing of multiple abortions – from the pro-life candidate.

O’Malley steps to the microphones and claims innocence of each and every charge, but she is unable to overcome the media frenzy.  She drops in the polls like a brick and is beaten by the Democrat Party candidate in a landslide.  Her reputation is left in ruins.

A couple of months later, as the new president is about to be inaugurated, The Times prints a retraction in two tiny paragraphs on page 32, below the fold.  They reveal that the IRS accidentally attached the medical records of another person to those of Ms. O’Malley.  Oops.  They still refuse to reveal the identity of the person who leaked O’Malley’s records to them.  The Justice Department quietly drops the investigation.

Do you think that story is too fantastic?  I don’t.  I think it’s right where we are headed.  Our government has been ruling against the wishes of the people for quite a long time already.  And now they are shutting the door behind them.  They are guaranteeing their power never be challenged by letting in only those who they trust.

Question them, challenge them or expose them and you’ll find the power they have claimed for themselves come down on you in a way you simply cannot defend.  If they can’t find anything “usefull” to discredit an opponent, they will simply make it up.  They’ve been doing it for years by way of innuendo.  Now they simply have to turn to their pals, conveniently positioned in the maze of bureaucracy they have created, to obtain “real” evidence for whatever fantasy they require.

I think it’s important that we all start from the same place.  The implementation of Obamacare was never meant to run smoothly.  The objective has always been government-run healthcare.  That was the starting point and everything else about the law works backwards from there.

While the world has been fixated on the Zimmerman trial, the U.S. government has been humming along, mostly unnoticed.  Over the long Fourth of July weekend, the Obama administration quietly announced that it would not enforce the part of the Obamacare law that requires employers to provide coverage for their workers.  The law says that this is to go into effect in a few months but as other sections of the law are not on schedule, companies are unable to comply.

So, the administration said, “Well, never mind for now.  We’ll just wait until next year.  We won’t enforce the penalties for now.”  We’ve all grown accustomed to this administration cherry-picking laws or parts of laws it likes to enforce, and ignoring those it doesn’t.  This is nothing new.

But a lot of people wanted to know if individuals (you and me) would get the same consideration as the business owners.  If we don’t have health insurance will our penalties be waived too?

“No, no, no,” said the administration.  “Your penalties will stay in place.  But here’s what we will do for you.  If you can’t afford insurance, just apply for a government subsidy.  We won’t check to see if you are truthful on your application.  We won’t check to see if you actually qualify.  We’ll just give you the money.  We trust you.  No one ever fibs to get a government handout, right?”

So why would they do this?  Fair question.

To get people on the gravy train.

It’s a sad fact that once entitlements are in place and people are dependent on them, they never go away.  It’s nearly impossible to even make adjustments to these programs.  See what happens to any politician who suggests changes to Medicare.

What is most important to supporters of Obamacare is to get people into the program as quickly and in as large numbers as they can.  They need to have people dependent on the program so it can never be repealed.

When it was passed, Obamacare looked like this.

At last count it had grown into this.

And they still haven’t finished writing the regulations.  Who the heck can even know all that’s in there?  And why would sane, thinking people even try to implement such a monster?

Go back to the starting point.  The objective is government-run healthcare.  All that talk about keeping your doctor and your insurance if you like them was nonsense.  The size and scope of the law was designed to destroy our private healthcare system by strangling it with regulations and making it unaffordable.  Eventually it will collapse.  And frightened people will run to the government for help – right into the open arms of bureaucrats just waiting to sign us all up for universal Medicaid.  We all end up at the mercy of our leaders to dish out our medical needs as they see fit.

The administration’s decision to ignore Obamacare’s mandate on business owners for another year is a political move, designed to ward off the mess until after the next election so low information voters won’t see it until it’s too late.  The vote last night of the Republicans in the House to give the same exception to individuals is the predictable, political counter-move.

But in the big picture, the implementation of Obamacare is moving along right on schedule.  There has never been any concern on the part of its supporters about any of this.  Whatever mess is made, purposefully or by chance, is part of the plan.  Our current healthcare system must be destroyed.  Those of us who fear government healthcare must be left with no place else to go.

And it’s all falling right into place.

Hillary Clinton says the verdict in the Zimmerman trial “brought heartache, deep painful heartache.”

While Eric Holder said people should be “respectful” his DOJ held a conference call with the NAACP, the ACLU and other civil rights organizations to ask for their help supplying any information to prove George Zimmerman is racist.  They announced that they were “aggressively investigating” the case and offered an email address set up only for tips about Zimmerman’s racism.

FL State Attorney Angela Corey, who prosecuted the case, called Zimmerman a murderer on air after the trial was over and he was acquitted.

Barbara Arnwine, director of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law called the verdict “a travesty and miscarriage of justice.”

Jasmine Rand, one of the Martin family’s attorneys, said of the verdict, “I don’t think that they (the jury) properly considered the evidence. If they had listened to the evidence and if they had followed the law, then George Zimmerman would have been convicted of murder.”

Congressman John Lewis (D-OH) said the verdict “seems to justify the stalking and killing of innocent black boys and deny them any avenue of self-defense.”

Except for Lewis, all these people are attorneys.  All of them, including Lewis, have sworn to uphold the law in America.  They have a special responsibility to abide by and protect our legal system.

Yet see the things they say in public about a jury decision they don’t like.

Getting out of jury duty is a cliché and a joke that’s older than I am.  Most people don’t want to serve and often do so reluctantly.  It’s an inconvenience.  But this behavior from officers of the court and those who have sworn to uphold the law moves that reluctance to a new level.

The women who served as jurors in this trial are in hiding, just like the defendant who has been declared innocent of all charges.  They have been

Juror B37

threatened and are now living in fear that their identities will be exposed.

The race baiters and others who profit from civil unrest continue to whip up rage.  Our president remains silent.  Our Attorney General has launched a public witch hunt for information he already knows he won’t find.

Jury duty?  No thanks.  I’ll take the punishment for refusing.

It can’t be anywhere near the punishment that the women of the Zimmerman jury are now receiving for doing their civic duty.

Did George Zimmerman get away with murder?  Did he abuse our legal system to get away with killing a young, black man simply because he’s obsessed with race?

From the look of things, we may be discussing that for some time to come in spite of what a jury has determined.

But there are other culprits here who are truly guilty of hideous crimes.  They are the many members of the old media who engaged in storytelling that they passed along as news to the rest of us.  The media wanted this case to be about race, and they wanted it so badly that when the facts didn’t support their preconceptions, they simply made them up.

Zimmerman was falsely accused of having made racially charged statements right from the beginning.  The accusations were reported and repeated across the board.  So it was rather surprising when we learned that Zimmerman was not white, but Hispanic.  Well, that didn’t fit what we were being told.

The remedy?  They created a new classification of hyphenated Americans – White Hispanic. By this standard, are we now to refer to the President of The United States as a White African American?  And what are we supposed to call all the other Hispanic people now?

Perhaps the most egregious of the lies came from NBC in late March of 2012, just a month after the incident when the 911 tapes were released.  They recklessly edited the 911 tape, so as to paint Zimmerman as the racist they wanted him to be.

This is the sort of thing you can’t take back.  It’s toothpaste you can’t put back in the tube, no matter what reluctant apology you issue quietly, days later.  In the racially charged atmosphere the press was creating, the damage was already done.

Breitbart.com has put together a good collection of the lies the media has handed us regarding this incident, including those of Al Sharpton who fanned the flames of the very racial divide he claims he wants to end.  If you are not familiar with the list, I urge you to have a look.

These outlets have no credibility left.  They should not be permitted to call themselves news organizations.  They no longer give us news, but instead feed unsuspecting viewers their own twisted ideas of how the world is and how they think it ought to be.

Zimmerman’s attorneys have filed suit against NBC for broadcasting their shameful editing of the 911 tape.  I’ll watch that case closely to see what possible defense they’ll put up.  I hope they are made to pay dearly for their deception.

I never met Trayvon Martin or George Zimmerman.  I’m sad that one young man is dead and the other’s life is changed forever.  I have compassion for their families.  But the truth is that none of this affects my life and tragedies like this one happen every day that I never hear about.

You and I know about this one only because the media wanted us to.  Sadly, young, black men are killed in alarming numbers, but NBC and the others don’t tell us about those.  I have no idea what inspired them, but they decided that this one was more important than the others and that this one was all about race.  They were wrong about that part, but it didn’t matter to them.  They made it what they wanted it to be.  And in the process, we’ve become a little more divided and a little more suspicious of each other when we need not be.

For me, this trial was all about the media.

And this jury of one finds them guilty.

Breitbart’s timeline of media lies
